Verso Design was founded in 1997 after Verso carpet designed by Kirsikka Savonen and Tuttu Sillanpää was awarded as an innovative product concept in a competition named Wood of Finland. Nowadays their range of products has broadened to include tabletop equipment, textiles and accessories.
