Metsovaara
Established in 1954, Metsovaara is known in Finland especially for the colorful printed patterns created by its founder Marjatta Metsovaara. Internationally, Metsovaara's name is mostly associated with woven interior textiles.
Well-known hotels, such as the Hilton, Sheraton and Four Seasons, have been covered in jacquard fabrics designed by Metsovaara, just as numerous public buildings ranging from the Berlin Philharmonic to the White House. When traveling on Belgian and Dutch railways or British Airways and Finnair planes, you may have once sat on seats upholstered with Metsovaara fabrics.
Nowadays the company manufactures home textiles like throws and cushions as well as fabrics decorated with Marjatta Metsovaara's classic pattern designs.
