Description

Motarasu's Sen table lamp is a lightweight charming beauty that fits perfectly in various spaces, from a bedside table in the bedroom to a bookshelf in the living room or a side table in the entryway. Designed by Tani Toshiyuki, the table lamp is expertly handcrafted from over 600 bamboo strips with the traditional takesensuji technique that was historically used in making paper lanterns. The light filters gently through the bamboo, creating a soft and peaceful ambience.

Please note that every Sen table lamp is entirely unique – thanks to the natural bamboo material and handcrafted production. These small variations are inherent to its character and what makes the Sen lamp so enchanting. The natural bamboo’s tone may differ slightly from one piece to another, and its surface may feature small cracks or colour variations, all of which add to its charm and individuality.
