Description

Petite Friture’s Neotenic table lamp boasts a playful design combining a chunky, curved ceramic base with a subdued glass dome. Created by the US-based design duo Jumbo, the inspiration for the corkscrew-like shape of the base derives from Italian cavatappi pasta, and the complex shape is manufactured in multiple steps by skilful ceramists in Portugal. The sculptural, pop art-inspired lamp fills the space with a joyful feel and soft light, making it equally well suited as a centrepiece in a minimalist interior or as a companion for rich colours and bold shapes.
