The Koodi towel by Lapuan Kankurit is decorated with a delightfully asymmetrical checkered pattern designed by Elina Helenius. It is based on one of Helenius' earlier designs, Huvila, and the extra-long woven fabric she created for the 50th-anniversary exhibition of Lapuan Kankurit in 2023: Koodi presents a detail from the compositions of 4.5-meter-long fabric.
The Koodi towel is made in Finland of washed European linen, a carefree material with a naturally laid-back appearance. It is not necessary to iron the towel – small wrinkles and creases give it a relaxed, natural look. The towel can be used as a tea towel or a hand towel as preferred.
