Magis' Fish sculpture brings creatures of the ocean right inside the walls of your home. Designed by Benedetta Mori Ubaldini, the charming sculpture turns the world upside down like in a child's imagination: in this world, fish swim up in the ceiling. Made of fluorescent red metal mesh, the Fish mobile is a unique, elegant and playful decorative element, suitable for the nursery or living room as well as for public spaces. While floating in the air, the mobile catches the eye and envokes interest and creativity in both children and adults.

Benedetta Mori Ubaldini

Benedetta Mori Ubaldini is a contemporary Italian sculptor, especially known for her innovative and experimental approach to design. She works with different kinds of materials but is best known for her pieces of art made of mesh wire. Mori Ubaldini creates poetic, even symbolic sculptures from wire, playing between presence and absence – the result is worlds that are almost magical.

Mori Ubaldini was born in Milan, Italy, but has lived in Asia, Holland and England, where she also studied and worked from 1991 to 2005. She got a fine art degree at Middlesex University, London. Mori Ubaldini's work has been exhibited at many prestigious international design fairs and exhibitions. She has designed for different brands, including Magis, for example.
