Description

VM Carpet's Latua rug features a delightfully nostalgic pattern inspired by Finnish nature and winter activities – it evokes images of cross-country ski trails and neat rows of skis waiting to be used. The name Latua is also a nod to the sport, as it translates to “Track!”, the word you yell when you want someone to yield on the tracks.

The Latua wool rug is part of VM Carpet's Duo collection, designed by Finnish textile artist Elina Helenius. The collection is characterised by timeless design, sustainability and multifunctionality, to which the collection’s name also refers: the easy-care rugs are double-sided, meaning they can be used both ways. The Duo rugs are made at VM Carpet's own weaving mill in the village of Karvala in Finland.
