Hannes Wettstein
Hannes Wettstein (1958–2008) was a Swiss designer whose works range from product and industrial design to interior design and architecture. Wettstein founded his own studio named Zed in 1991 and co-founded the 9D Design Studio in 1993. He worked with many international brands including Artemide, Shimano and Cassina, and some of his best-known works include the interior for the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Berlin and the Swiss Embassy in Washington DC. Wettstein was considered one of the most influential designers of his generation, and he received many respected design recognitions, such as the Compasso d'Oro in 2004.
