Description

PELATA pieces' Prikka is a modern take on the classic game of backgammon. TAF Studio has infused the game with Scandinavian minimalism and a sense of unhurried calm, reflected in both the game’s relaxed pace and its simple design. Made from solid wood, the game board is more than just the centrepiece of the game night – just take away the chips and Prikka transforms into an elegant tray! We recommend Prikka backgammon as a gift not only for those who love to play games but also for anyone who enjoys breakfast in bed served with style.

TAF Studio

The Swedish architects Gabriella Lenke and Mattias Ståhlbom have run the architecture and design studio TAF (previously TAF Architects) in Stockholm, Sweden, since 2002. TAF Studio’s aim is to make ordinary life less ordinary through subtle but effective changes in how products and architecture appear and function. A recurrent departure point in TAF Studio’s projects is that everyday objects by their very commonness can be made uncommon.
