Description

The Eläinten Sauna seat cover by Lapuan Kankurit is adorned with Matti Pikkujämsä’s drawing depicting a group of Finnish animals enjoying a traditional sauna – Eläinten Sauna is Finnish for ”animals' sauna”. Made of a blend of European linen and organic cotton, the sauna seat cover has a feel of quality and skilled crafting traditions. The Eläinten Sauna seat cover has been woven in Finland.

Care instructions
Before use wash separately in a 60°C delicate cycle without spinning. Fabric shrinkage approx. 5%. Do not leave in the sauna, always move them outside the sauna to dry.

Matti Pikkujämsä

Matti Pikkujämsä (b. 1976) is a Finnish illustrator and graphic designer, who graduated from University of Art and Design Helsinki and has become known for his warm and humorous children’s book illustrations. He has also designed several book covers; prints for brands such as Samuji, Marimekko and Kauniste and illustrations for Finnish magazines and newspapers. In 2013 Pikkujämsä won the Rudolf Koivu illustration award and two years later the State Prize for Illustrations.
