Antoni de Moragas Gallissà (1913–1985) is a Spanish architect and designer whose passionate efforts shaped the direction of Spanish design. Antoni de Moragas Gallissà, who graduated as an architect, founded a group called Club 49 in 1949, in which like-minded designers drew inspiration from the avant-garde ideology of Europe and the United States and created links to the West – at a time when Spain had completely been left out from the design ideologies trending in Europe.

Later in 1960, Antoni de Moragas Gallissà also co-founded the FAD Association of Industrial Design (ADI-FAD) with Miguel Milá, Rafael Marquina and André Ricard, and the organization is still one of the most respected in the industry. The lamps and furniture designed by Antoni de Moragas are timeless classics whose design language carries references to pure functionality and rationalism, as well as Nordic features that draw inspiration from Alvar Aalto's ideology and works.
