Sustainability is the cornerstone of Saana ja Olli's work and forms the foundations for their design philosophy: the production process is kept transparent and as local as possible. In addition to their own Saana ja Olli collections, the duo has done design work for various Finnish and international clients ranging from clothing brand Uniqlo to the NGO Amnesty International. The company is named after its founders Saana Sipilä and Olli Sallinen: the name Saana ja Olli is Finnish and literally translates to "Saana and Olli".
