Arabia’s Friendship jar is adorned with a lovely, colourful pattern. The Moomin Friendship collection features illustrations based on Tove Jansson’s storybook, Who Will Comfort Toffle?, where lonely Toffle, after exciting adventures, finds himself a true friend.
The size of the ceramic canister is 1,2 litres, and its black lid has a silicone liner. The jar is perfect for storing cookies, coffee, or small items and important treasures.
Tove Slotte (b.1957) is a Finnish illustrator and graphical designer. Before becoming a designer she studied ceramics. Slotte worked at the Finnish design company Arabia 1985-1990 an today she works as a freelance designer. She is known for illustrating the popular Moomin-products of Iittala and Arabia. She picks up the themes from the original drawings of Tove Jansson and modifies them to fit the products.
