Description

The Log table, designed by Julien Renault for Hem, is delightfully uncomplicated in design and therefore suitable for a wide range of spaces and purposes. Ideally used either as a dining table or a desk, Log is light in both visual appearance and weight: the table's beautiful veneered table top hides a honeycomb structure that keeps the table light despite its sturdy, robust legs in solid wood. The table’s minimalist design is also softened by the rounded lines of its frame.

I am not rating the table as your company does not make products, you sell them. Table quality has absolutely nothing to do with you. If I have an issue with the table, it goes to the manufacturer via you. You are logistics company. You are a 'service' company. Bad news first, when I purchased from you in 2023, all my emails were answered in a few days. This year, you seem inundated. They were not answered at all, not even late. I had to call. So here is something to work on. Logistics is everything especially handling heavy high spec furniture!!! I needed a extra long table but made my choice based on weight first not design, 34kg as it needed to go up 3 flights of stairs with no damage, logistics. When the table shipped, the shipping weight was 68kg. This is when I emailed you with no response. Why did weight double? Though it would have been better if you responded, the extra 34kg is the palette. You guys paletted a lightweight table, excellent. The palette was also carefully selected to be oversized in all direction but not so much it could not be forklifted. FedEx also respected the palette and did not remove the table from the palette until it reached our apt; again all logistics. Logistics is something few customers think through. Most probably just want the table. I want the logistics. If there was even the slightest ding on such an expensive item, this results in another 50 emails, 10 phone calls and cost & time to you and the customer. You guys spent the time to get the logistics right on 1 table which is quite rare as paletting usually happens with bulk orders. This is foresight and the mark of an excellent company. All you work is in the packaging and logistics, not in the table. You understand that this extra work is what counts.
