Kranen/Gille

Kranen/Gille is a Dutch design duo who met each other while studying at Design Academy Eindhoven. After graduating in 2004, Jos Kranen and Johannes Gille focused in their own work but after happening to end up working on the same project in 2006 the two decided to start their own design studio together. Kranen/Gille’s lighting and furniture is often full of contrasts due to the fact that while they often are inspired by nature, they also draw inspiration from heavy industry.
