In reality, the mirror is secured to the wall with a knob that doubles as a hook for hanging a hat or a scarf. The frameless mirror is made in Italy and diamond-polished to ensure maximally reflective surface.
The Memory mirror is part of Massproductions' The Little Things product line, designed by Chris Martin, that comprises a range of smaller furniture and objects. When creating the collection, Martin wanted to focus on the kind of items we encounter in our day-to-day lives but often take for granted. The idea behind The Little Things is to "gild everyday life", as Martin puts it.
