Description

Skovshoved Møbelfabrik’s OGK Weekend bed is a beautifully designed Nordic-style travel bed for children, perfect for quick weekend getaways or as an easy-to-set-up extra bed at the summer cottage or grandparents’ house. It was designed by Ole Gjerløv-Knudsen in 1965, with the aim of creating an aesthetically timeless and effortlessly assembled bed for babies, toddlers and kids.

Made from untreated beech wood and undyed linen fabric, the OGK Weekend bed boasts a sturdy construction, completed with sisal ropes. It measures 128 cm in length, and one of the sides can be lowered if desired, transforming the bed into a cosy sofa for the kids’ room or perhaps a dog bed for your four-legged friend. The bed comes in a linen bag with a shoulder strap for easy transportation, and you won’t need any tools at all to assemble it.
