Carl Hansen & Søn’s CH88P chair is one of many dining chairs created by the Danish designer Hans J. Wegner. Wegner developed the first prototype of the CH88P chair already in 1955 for the international Helsingborg Exhibition in Sweden, but the characterful chair was not taken into production until 2014.
The silhouette of the CH88P chair is dominated by its expressive, curved wooden backrest, which contrasts with the bent steel tube frame. The upholstered seat ensures good seating comfort and gives the chair a soft touch. The lightweight and stackable chair is ideal for dining use both in homes and restaurants. The CH88P chair is made by hand in Denmark.
