Fast, climate-compensated shipping

Currently, we offer free standard delivery on all orders over £129 (small items). We ship worldwide to over 180 countries, partnering with major international carriers such as DHL, FedEx, TNT, and UPS.

All in-stock items ship next business day – we strive to ship orders promptly! Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email containing a tracking number. If you are registered with us, you can also see your previous orders by signing into your account.

Until emission-free shipping methods are widely available, we will ensure that the carbon footprint of our deliveries is fully offset – without any additional cost to our customers.

Shipping methods

DHL Euroconnect shipments are sent from our warehouse a few times a week.

You can track your order within three business days after it has been processed at the DHL facility. DHL Euroconnect shipments are delivered on business days, and the carrier will contact you to book a suitable delivery time.

Please note that your order will be delivered to the shipping address on a pallet, and carrying the goods indoors or upstairs is not included in the service. The pallet will be left to the receiver for a potential return shipment.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the parcel/shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate and estimated delivery date at checkout. Please note that DHL Euroconnect is not available for all orders. 

DHL Express Worldwide is one of the fastest shipping option available. Deliveries are made between Monday to Friday during regular business hours. 

Soon after pick-up you will receive an e-mail or text message from DHL with a tracking code and estimated delivery time. By clicking the link in the message, you can choose the best delivery option for you. Delivery can be made to original delivery address, to DHL Service Point or DHL Parcel Lockers, and you can also change the delivery address within the same country.

You will get a notification before delivery and a confirmation once the delivery has been made.

Your order will be delivered to the shipping address or a post office by a local postal carrier. DHL Parcel is often the most economical shipping method for items that are large and lightweight.

You can track your order within 3 business days after it has been shipped. DHL Parcel orders are dispatched from our warehouse on Wednesdays and Fridays. After the first delivery attempt, the parcel will be transported to a local pickup point.

Your order will be delivered to the shipping address, pick-up point or parcel locker by DHL or by a local partner of DHL that meets the standards of DHL. DHL Parcel Connect has more than 72 000 collection points in Europe.

You can track your order within 3 business days after it has been shipped. You can track your delivery with your phone–with reliable track and trace delivery info showing where it is and when it will arrive. You receive a pre-delivery text or email assuring you that your package is in the country and will be delivered on a specific day.

You have the option of doorstep delivery or re-routing to a service point. When choosing the delivery to doorstep, after the first delivery attempt, the parcel will be transported to a local pickup point. If delivered to a pick-up point, you will have up to one week to collect the package.

Your order will be delivered to the shipping address on a pallet via the DSV Freight service. The pallet will be left to the receiver for a potential return shipment.

Please note that carrying the goods indoors or upstairs is not included in the service. If you would like your items to be carried inside your house or office, contact our Customer Service. Please note that this additional service is not available in all locations.

FedEx deliveries are made on business days from Monday to Friday to the shipping address.

When ordering with Fedex Economy Freight please note that carrying of the goods indoors or upstairs is not included in the service. The pallet will be left to the receiver for a potential return shipment.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the parcel/shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate and estimated delivery date at checkout. Please note that FedEx Economy is not available for all orders.

FedEx Priority deliveries are made on business days from Monday to Friday to the shipping address.

When ordering with Fedex Priority Freight please note that carrying of the goods indoors or upstairs is not included in the service. The pallet will be left to the receiver for a potential return shipment.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the parcel/shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate and estimated delivery date at checkout. Please note that Fedex Priority is not available for all orders. 

Your order will be shipped to the delivery address via GLS EuroBusinessParcel service or a local GLS partner. Available for shipments under 20 kg.

Deliveries are made between Monday to Friday during regular business hours. After the first delivery attempt, the parcel will be transported to a local pickup point.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the parcel/shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate and estimated delivery date at checkout. Please note that GLS EuroBusinessParcel is not available for all orders. 

TNT is often the most economical shipping method for bulky and oversized items such as sofas, lounge chairs and dining tables. Your order will be delivered to the shipping address on a pallet via the TNT Economy Express or TNT Express service. 

The pallet will be left to the receiver for a potential return shipment. Please note that carrying the goods indoors or upstairs is not included in the service.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the parcel/shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate and estimated delivery date at checkout. Please note that TNT is not available for all orders.

Your order will be shipped to the delivery address via UPS Expedited service. Deliveries are made between Monday to Friday during regular business hours. 

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the parcel/shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate and estimated delivery date at checkout. Please note that UPS Expedited is not available for all orders.  

UPS Express Saver is the fastest shipping option available. Deliveries are made between Monday to Friday during regular business hours.

Delivery to a pickup location

At checkout, select the shipping method and then a suitable pickup point from a list of the closest locations, based on the provided shipping address. You will receive an email notification from UPS once your order is available for pickup.

Please note that delivery to a pickup location is not available for all orders. Orders with a weight of over 20 kg or a length of over 80 cm cannot be delivered to a pickup point.

Your order will be shipped to the delivery address via UPS Standard service. Deliveries are made between Monday to Friday during regular business hours.

Delivery to a pickup location

At checkout, select the shipping method and then a suitable pickup point from a list of the closest locations, based on the provided shipping address. You will receive an email notification from UPS once your order is available for pickup.

For oversized goods, a 49-149 € surcharge applies unless the order exceeds the 2,500 € free shipping threshold. The surcharge is applied once per order that includes an oversized item.

Usually oversized goods have to be prepared for transport by several employees. You can see whether your desired product is an oversized item on the respective product page.

Please check the packaging of your item(s) upon delivery for external damages before signing the proof of delivery. In case you detect any damage such as dirt, moisture or cuts, ask the driver to log an initial complaint about the issue. If the item has been damaged during transport, please file a freight claim within three days of receiving the order.

We recommend that you receive your parcel personally. If you have authorized the courier to leave it in a safe place and it goes missing after delivery, we are not responsible for the loss.

Sometimes things don't go happily according to plan, but we are here to help you.

If the product you received is defective or damaged during transportation, take photos of both the packaging and the product. Send the photos and a more detailed description to us on the claim form within three days of receiving the order. Always save the damaged shipping packaging.

We ship worldwide to over 180 countries. You can select your shipping destination at the top left corner of our website. All orders are shipped from our own warehouse in Turku, Finland.

Due to the current saddening events, we are unable to deliver our goods to Ukrainian and Belarussian shipping addresses. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

100% climate-compensated deliveries

Since the transport sector is a significant source of carbon emissions, we want to do our bit in reducing their negative impact on the climate. Emission-free modes of transport are being developed, but there is still work to be done. That’s why we encourage our partners to take a step towards more sustainable operations, such as switching to vehicles running on electricity or fossil-free fuels.

Until emission-free options are widely available, we will ensure that the carbon footprint of our deliveries is fully offset – without any additional cost to our customers. To our delight, some of our transport partners are already compensating for their emissions.

Finnish Design Shop will offset its carbon emissions by acquiring forests in Finland and protecting them within the framework of the METSO program. Forests are important carbon sinks: as forest grows, it stores carbon dioxide from the atmosphere to trees and the soil. By establishing new preservation areas, we can also protect forest biodiversity and encourage people to make the most of the Finnish ‘everyman’s rights’ – that is, the right of public access to nature – and all the other experiences nature has to offer.
