Description

Catellani & Smith's Giulietta BE portable table lamp, designed by Enzo Catellani, is a minimalist brass lamp with a vertical stem that connects to a flat, disc-shaped head housing an integrated LED light source. Featuring a four-step touch dimmer, this portable, cordless lamp is ideal for use as a task light, reading light or ambient light in homes, offices and public spaces alike. The USB-rechargeable table lamp provides light for 3.5 to 20 hours on a single charge, depending on the brightness level.

Named after the designer's daughter, the Giulietta series embodies Enzo Catellani’s vision for an elegantly beautiful, serenely balanced look – neither too much nor too little. Each Giulietta lamp is handcrafted in Italy.

 Enzo Catellani

Enzo Catellani (b. 1950) is an Italian lighting designer and the founder of the lighting company Catellani & Smith. A self-taught designer, Catellani began his career by crafting lamps in his own workshop in Bergamo. His designs gained popularity at the 1989 Ambiente fair in Frankfurt, leading him to establish his own company that same year. Catellani's design philosophy emphasises the interplay between materials and light, technical quality, and a sense of playfulness, with a focus on creating lights that evoke emotion and set a mood. His lamps and installations can also be found in London's Victoria and Albert Museum and in the garden of the Milan Triennale.
