Description

The Turntable record player console is a modern, minimalist version of the previously common but in recent years somewhat forgotten turntable console. A far cry from the massive turntable consoles of the olden days, Turntable features a sleek and simple design made of solid oak, designed by Harri Koskinen in collaboration with a professional woodworker.

The Elemental record player and MaiA Pre preamplifier integrated to the console guarantee high-quality audio standards whether you are listening to a record or music from your laptop or phone,  with headphones or via active speakers. The record player is pre-adjusted, so as soon as you have screwed on the legs and plugged in the speakers, the player is ready to be used.

Harri Koskinen (b. 1970) is a versatile Finnish designer who has studied at the Lahti Institute of Design and at the University of Art and Design in Helsinki. His international breakthrough was in 1996 with the Block lamp, which is already considered a Scandinavian design classic and has been part of the MoMA’s permanent collection since 2000.

Koskinen’s creations include a wide range of different products – furniture, tableware, glassware, lighting, watches, textiles and much more – designed for world-renowned brands.
