Description

Magis' Tuffy swivel chair is anything but an ordinary chair! Designed by Konstantin Grcic, the playful chair will surely be remembered for its distinctive and surprising appearance. The chair consists of a screw-shaped adjustment mechanism and an ergonomically shaped backrest that is shaped like the alphabet T, adding an entertaining mischievousness to Tuffy's look. The Tuffy chair is an ideal addition to the dining room or home office, to brighten up the décor in the kids' room or even as a fun extra seat in the living room.

Konstantin Grcic

The German designer Konstantin Grcic (b. 1965) studied in Royal College of Art in London. In 1991 he founded his own company, KGID. Over the years, Grcic has had many well-known clients such as Magis, Vitra and Iittala. The cooperation with Magis lead to one of the most interesting and inventive chairs of our time, the Chair One. Chair One became a design icon and a part of the permanent collections in MoMA in New York and Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris.
