Description

The Alfi bar stool was developed in collaboration with Emeco and designer Jasper Morrison. In Alfi’s design, ash wood legs combine with a softly shaped seat. The composite seat is made on 100% reclaimed materials: polypropylene and wood fibres that are leftovers and surplus materials from plastic factories and sawmills. Due to the wood fibres, the seat has a beautifully nuanced surface texture.

Timeless and durable Alfi chairs are perfect for both home use as well as for restaurants and other public spaces. All Emeco products are manufactured in the USA, using mostly recycled materials.

Care instructions
Seat cleaning with soap and water, drying with a soft cloth. Bleach can be used as well as hydrogen peroxide based cleaners (dilution level 1:10). Clean the wood base with a warm, soapy, damp cloth.

Jasper Morrison

Jasper Morrison (b. 1959) is one of the most successful industrial designers of his generation. He is known for an aesthetic and quietly humorous style that often aims at understated everyday functionality. A graduate from the Kingston Polytechnic and Royal College of Art, Morrison opened his own studio in London in 1986, and today he has offices also in Paris and Tokyo. He has designed products from tableware to tram systems and collaborated with brands such as Alessi, Vitra, Nikari, Flos, Fredericia and Iittala. Morrison’s work has been exhibited around the world, and in 2001 he was awarded the Royal Designer for Industry distinction by the British Royal Society of Arts.
