Description

&Tradition's Pavilion AV18 table, designed by Anderssen & Voll, follows the sleek, graceful design expression of the duo's Pavilion chairs. Equally suitable as a dining table or desk, the Pavilion table features a slender veneered tabletop carried by metal tube legs that curve out at the bottom.

The first item in the Pavilion collection, the Pavilion chair, was designed by Andersen & Voll for mass seating at the Langelinie Pavilion, located on the castle grounds of Copenhagen’s Kastellet fortress. The Langelinie Pavilion has been destroyed and rebuilt several times, and its resilient spirit inspired Torbjørn Anderssen and Espen Voll to create a strong, durable piece of furniture with a tender soul. Steel tube furniture is often based on fixed angles, but Andersen & Voll wanted to give the Pavilion collection a free, flowing form – despite the robust steel frames, the Pavilion collection has an airy and poetic feel.
