Marimekko’s Palko pouf is adorned with the Palko pattern designed by Maija Louekari. Inspired by pea pods, the graphic shapes of Palko, Finnish for "pod", form evenly undulating stripes. True to Marimekko's design tradition, the Palko pattern is boldly distinctive and gently organic at the same time.
The large and lightweight pouf is filled with small styrofoam balls and has a thick cotton cover that is removable and washable. Printed in Helsinki, Finland, the relaxed and elegant Palko pouf is perfect as a cosy pouf or footstool and it also functions as a seat by a low table.
