The Marimekko thick cotton fabric features Maija Louekari’s attractive Mini Räsymatto pattern depicting the texture of traditional rag rugs in a delightful, graphic manner. The fabric is made of 100% cotton and printed in Helsinki, Finland; 25% of the cotton used is recycled and 25% is organic.
Maija Louekari's Siirtolapuutarha ("allotment garden") and Räsymatto ("rag rug") patterns tell stories about country life in an urban environment with a pleasant feeling of nostalgia. Originally released in 2009, the patterns have become classics of modern Finnish design.
