Description

Utopia & Utility's stacking vessel Matisse III is a handcrafted glass sculpture designed by Finnish-German artist Pia Wüstenberg. This exquisite piece features a bulbous glass vessel crowned by a wooden piece with beautiful, naturally unsymmetrical edges. When stacked together, the components form a striking sculpture, and while separate, the glass vessel can be used as a vase for flowers.

The Stacking Vessels collection celebrates local craftsmanship, with all its pieces produced in Europe: the glass is mouth-blown in the Czech Republic, the wooden pieces hand-turned in Finland and the metal parts hand-spun in England. The final assembly takes place at Utopia & Utility's own warehouse in Northern Germany. Skillfully crafted Stacking Vessels add a captivating touch to any shelf or dining table and serve as a perfect choice for a memorable gift.
