Description

Marimekko’s Unikko guest towel features the iconic floral pattern by Maija Isola in lovely shades of pink. Made from soft and absorbent organic cotton terry, the Unikko guest towel adds a bit of elegance to the bathroom décor and everyday routines – the petite towel can also be used as a face towel. Complete the look with other Unikko towels.

The Unikko pattern came about in 1964 after Armi Ratia, the founder of Marimekko, had announced in public that no floral fabrics are designed at Marimekko. Maija Isola did not accept rules or restrictions and designed in protest a complete collection of bold floral patterns: Unikko, a Finnish word that means poppy. Today, Unikko is one of Marimekko's best-known patterns and is recognized worldwide.

    Muuten olisin tyytyväinen, mutta pyyheessä oleva ripustin on väärällä puolella. Pyyhkeen kuviointi jää piiloon sekä pyyhkeestä tulee todella pieni. Olisi parempi jos ripustin olisi pyyhkeen toisella puolella, eli lyhyemmällä puolella.
