Brita Flander

Brita Flander (b. 1957) is a Finnish designer known especially for her harmonic and timeless lamps and glass design. During her long career, Flander has worked with well-known Finnish brands such as Skanno, Artek and Marimekko, and designed items to places like the Stockmann department store in Helsinki and Mäntyniemi, the official residence of the President of Finland. Flander’s work belongs to the collections of both Finnish and international museums, including the National Museum of Finland, Helsinki’s Design Museum, Musée des Arts Decoratifs de Louvre in Paris and the Corning Museum of Glass in United States.
