Tom Dixon's Spring pendant's trick is in its versatility. The semi-transparent shade of the ceiling light consists of ribbons of stained steel that are stacked in a whisker-like position. This allows the shape of the Spring pendant to be adjusted to different silhouettes. The pendant is like a shimmering galaxy on the ceiling of a room – its figure can be turned into a flying saucer or even a pumpkin, depending on the space, need, mood and the viewer's imagination.
