Description

Norm 03 from Normann Copenhagen is a flowing and lightweight self-assembly lampshade that consists of 39 parts. Anyone can assemble it just by folding the elements – no tools or glue are needed. When lit, the Norm 03 lampshade creates a sculptural play of light and shadow on your wall.

Designed by architect Britt Kornum, Norm 03 has references to the aesthetics of the 1960s, and the pure white colour makes it suitable for any modern interior. Norm 03 was awarded the Danish Formland Award in 2003 and nominated in the 'Best Item' category at Imm Cologne 2004.

Britt Kornum

The Danish designer Britt Kornum studied at the Aarhus School of Architecture in Denmark. As her exam work, she designed the Norm 03 lamp, but this creation needed to mature for a while before it got in the collections of Normann Copenhagen. Kornum soughs for inspiration from organic shapes and adds a feminine touch and minimalism. In 2003 the Norm 03 lamp was awarded the Formland-price and in 2004 it was chosen as ”Best Item” in IMM Cologne.
