Wästberg
w103 Sempé s1 pendant

Description

Wästberg’s Sempé pendant light was named after its designer, the French Inga Sempé. Made of metal, the minimalist luminaire borrows its form from a push pin and, perhaps a little less obviously, from traditional machine tool lighting used in the metal industry.

The Sempé pendant lamp looks simultaneously weighty and light both in terms of materials and aesthetics: the luminaire consists of a curved shade in aluminium decorated with a cleat at the top – a detail that is repeated in other luminaire designs in the Sempé series. The shade hides an efficient COB LED light source that infuses the space with pleasant, warm white light that, thanks to the advanced COB technology, is always flicker-free and unaffected by the colour of the shade. The pendant is dimmable.

In 2023, Wästberg updated the w103 range with new lighting solutions as well as a new colour palette. This model is an older, discontinued version.
