Description

String Furniture's Relief chest of drawers is designed to keep an impressive array of items in impeccable order. Elevated on sleek legs, the capacious pull-out drawers are ready to house not only socks, shirts and accessories but also other essential treasures of daily life. The Relief series allows for creative mixing and matching, and by connecting drawers of different sizes (and perhaps even colours!), you can craft a modular storage unit tailored to your unique needs. The chest's surface finish extends seamlessly to the back, rendering it a versatile choice even as a room divider. The Relief chest of drawers is made in Sweden.

TAF Studio designed the Relief collection to answer the never-ending quest for clothing storage – how to keep your clothes in perfect order without taking up too much space. The pieces in the Relief series are perfectly proportioned for storing clothes and accessories, yet their simple and robust forms adapt to various tasks, from storing kitchen essentials to tidying up toys. The racks and drawers of the series not only complement each other aesthetically but also share identical widths, ensuring a seamless fit in both form and function.

TAF Studio

The Swedish architects Gabriella Lenke and Mattias Ståhlbom have run the architecture and design studio TAF (previously TAF Architects) in Stockholm, Sweden, since 2002. TAF Studio’s aim is to make ordinary life less ordinary through subtle but effective changes in how products and architecture appear and function. A recurrent departure point in TAF Studio’s projects is that everyday objects by their very commonness can be made uncommon.
