Skagerak’s Hven extension plate fits the 74.8 in (190 cm) and 102.36 in (260 cm) Hven tables. The extension leaf adds 26.38 in (67 cm) to the table's length, and it is extremely easy to install and remove when no longer needed. Made of painted MDF, the extension is also ideal for families with small children – spills can simply be wiped off with a damp cloth.
The timeless and clean-lined Hven collection, designed by Anton Björsing, was named after the small island located in the Öresund Strait, known not only for its beautiful nature, cultural history and scientific achievements but also for the ferries connecting Sweden and Denmark. The Hven collection plays a similar role: it has connected the Danish Skagerak and Swedish Björsing, and gathers family and friends around the dining table.
