Kay Bojesen’s small Grand Prix salad set is not only perfect for serving salads but equally suitable for dishing up tapas treats or side dishes. Crafted from polished stainless steel, the set includes a distinctively shaped small serving spoon and serving fork, both measuring 7.28 x 0 in (18.5 x cm. cm).
The Grand Prix cutlery collection is among the most renowned works of the iconic Danish designer Kay Bojesen. In the 1930s, Bojesen set out to create a versatile cutlery series suitable for hands of all sizes, perfect for both everyday use and special occasions, with the aim that these pieces could be passed down through generations as cherished heirlooms. At the 1951 Milan Triennial, his silver cutlery was awarded the first prize – the Grand Prix – and ever since, the collection has been known by this name. After the win, the cutlery was introduced in a matte steel version, and in 2011, the series was expanded with polished steel utensils.
