Description

Marset’s Ginger 20 M table lamp is Joan Gaspar’s study on wood, light and design. The most essential element of the Ginger range is a wide, wooden lampshade whose white-coated inside provides a smooth and soft light. The challenging structure of the shade was achieved by pressing together sheets of wood, paper and resin into a beautifully arched laminate. The efficient, built-in LED unit has been placed behind an aluminium anti-glare shade. The Ginger table lamp has a USB rechargeable lithium battery that makes the lamp portable and pleasantly versatile – the same lamp can easily be lifted from a coffee table to a dining table or from a nightstand to a dressing table.

In 2021, Marset updated the design by adopting the USB-C standard for the charging port. At the same time, the brand decided to leave out the AC adapter from the package as many households already have one – the aim is to reduce the environmental impact of the lamp.
