Karakter’s Cross Plexi was designed by Danish Bodil Kjær in 1959. The table’s geometric form and visual lightness were inspired by 1950’s architecture: the transparent table comprises only a cross base in acrylic with a precisely cut glass top. Due to the choice of materials, the table’s appearance is in constant flux, as reflections of light, the table’s surroundings, and what is placed on it change in the course of a day.
