Northern's Balancer mini lamp is a charming little light source for homes and public spaces. Designed by Berlin-based design studio YUUE, the multifunctional luminaire fits on the wall as well as on the table – the Balancer mini transforms easily from a table lamp to a wall lamp with a handy magnetic plate. The geometric luminaire consists of a rotating, mouth-blown opal glass shade and a narrow, rectangular base that hides the electrical components out of sight. A three-step touch dimmer ensures that the light level is always the way you want it, whether you place the Balancer mini on a desk in your home office or mount it next to your bed as a reading lamp.

Designer
YUUE is a Berlin-based design studio, founded in 2015 by designer Weng Zinyu and artist Tao Haiyue. YUUE specializes in creating modern and functional design solutions for both commercial and residential spaces: everything from lighting, furniture, accessories, and interior to installations. The company have been awarded "Top 50 German Designer" by AD Germany and "Emerging Design Star" by AD China in 2016. YUUE’s works have also won many prestigious awards including German Design Award and Dezeen Design Award. Since 2018 YUUE have been run by designer Weng Xinyu.
