Cabin Chef knife set

Description

Marttiini's Cabin Chef knife set includes all the knives you may need when spending time in nature: a Nordic knife, a small Nordic knife, a fillet knife, a fish spike and a chef's knife. The set also includes a sharpening stone in phyllite. Designed especially for camping and cabin life, the set comes with a beautiful leather knife roll for easy transport and storage.

The knives’ stainless steel blades are crafted precisely for the specific use of each knife. The handles of the knives are shaped so that they feel comfortable and firm in the hand whatever the grip may be. In addition to the form, the handles’ material was also chosen for its ergonomic properties: thermally modified birch feels warm and pleasant to touch and its matte finish ensures a good grip even in wet conditions. The material is not only durable, but also ages beautifully.

The Cabin Chef knives, designed by Harri Koskinen, fuse unpretentiously beautiful design with utmost functionality. Created in collaboration with Marttiini and top chef Pekka Terävä, the collection was inspired by the unique charm of Nordic nature: it offers all the knives you could need for handling nature’s gifts in the camping or cabin kitchen as well as when cooking at home. The Cabin Chef knives are made in Finland.

Not happy at all. Package stuck in Germany / Customs / UPS Koeln for 1 week. Hope it arrives on time. Finnish Design should have used FEDEX instead.
