Iittala's Piano salad servers were designed by Italian architect Renzo Piano in 1998. The soft contours of the Piano salad servers feel pleasant in the hand, while their refined and streamlined shapes delight in both everyday and festive table settings, year after year, for decades to come. Piano salad servers are made of polished stainless steel and finished with wooden handles.

Renzo Piano

The Italian Renzo Piano (b. 1937) is one of the most important architects of the 20th century. He has realized a number of large, eye-catching projects, such as the Centre Pompidou in Paris, Kansai International Airport in Osaka, Japan and San Nicola Stadium in Bari, Italy. He is also responsible for the main layout of the Potsdamer Platz and eight of its buildings in Berlin.

Renzo Piano designed the Piano cutlery for Iittala in 1998. Over the years, he has received a range of prestigious prizes and awards, including the Compasso d’Oro Award, the Pritzker Prize, the Erasmus Award and the Kyoto Award.
