Nanimarquina

Nanimarquina is a Spanish family-owned company specialising in designer rugs. Established in Barcelona in 1987 by designer Nani Marquina, the brand's roots trace back to the 1970s, a time when the end of Franco's dictatorship ushered in a period of joy and vitality in Spanish culture, reflected in the design trends of the era.

Nanimarquina's award-winning collection centres around handwoven rugs that blend modern design with traditional craftsmanship. The rugs are woven by local artisans in India, Pakistan and Nepal, regions with centuries-old weaving traditions. Since 2002, Nanimarquina has partnered with the Care & Fair organization, which works to combat child labour and supports local weaving families through education and healthcare initiatives.
