The Trial, published by Aatos Editions, is one of Franz Kafka's best-known works. In this social satire, the main character Josef K is accused of a crime that is never revealed. Published in 1925, The Trial is a timeless novel with a story that sharply comments on the state and society of the 20th century.

This edition also includes an essay on Kafka, written by literary critic Walter Benjamin. The cover, elegantly decorated in black cardboard with white serigraphic details, is designed by Anna-Mari Tenhunen.
