Description

Selka’s Mahtuva desk is a multi-purpose, adjustable table that is specially designed for remote work and the home office. Therefore, the table is not only compact in size, but also height-adjustable so that you can work both sitting and standing. The desk is also well suited for workplaces where desktops should be adaptable and multifunctional.

Designed by Finnish Ari Kanerva, the Mahtuva desk is equipped with a gas spring, which allows the height of the table to be raised or lowered between 72 and 116 centimeters. The height can be easily adjusted with the lever placed below the tabletop – a handy feature if you like to alternate between sitting and standing throughout the day. The minimalist table is also perfect for those who work from home only occasionally, as its adaptable design allows the table to be used, for example, as a side table in the kitchen or living room when it is not needed as a desk.

The Mahtuva desk comes in a variety of finishes and sizes. The S-sized table has enough room for a laptop and a mouse as well as perhaps a phone and a coffee cup. If you’d prefer a bit more space, for instance for a calendar or a stack of papers, the desk also comes in larger M and L sizes. The largest desk, size XL, can also fit an external monitor, keyboard and mouse, for example. The Mahtuva desk is designed and made in Finland.
