Description

Eames House Whale is a delightful scale model of the huge, two-metre wooden whale that was one of the most beloved decorative objects in the house of Charles and Ray Eames. Crafted by an anonymous North American folk artist, the original whale hung from the ceiling of the Eames House, and it also appeared in several photoshoots of the Eames products. Manufactured by Vitra, the 70-cm-long Eames House Whale is made of hand-painted alder, and it brings joy whether placed on a table or windowsill or hung from the ceiling of your house.
