Designer
Alfredo Häberli (b. 1964) is an internationally established designer. He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, but in 1977 moved to Zurich, Switzerland, where he lives. In 1991, Alfredo Häberli graduated in Industrial Design from the Zurich School of Design, receiving the Diploma Prize.

In my lifetime I have had 7 dishware sets which have all been scratched by cutlery or chipped or broken. I bought the Iittala Oringo dishes 6 years ago because I wanted Finnish design and something that will last. I know that Iittala Origo dishes have been around for a long time are open stock and fair extremely well with regular use. My family had Iittala dishes and despite years of use looked brand new. I should have bought these dishes first I would have saved money. One of my dishes broke and I replaced it using the Finnish Design Shop. I ordered online and the process was easy and cost reasonable and included shipping. The only surprise I received was the duty as my plate that was shipped from Finland. The cost of buy the plate was double but I wanted it to complete my set. The service with the process and shipping were exceptional. ❤️
