Cover Story's paint shade i05 Laila is the perfect sky blue: not too pale and not too bright. The light blue hue evokes images of breezy summer days and the interiors of the 1950s, but is nonetheless easy to combine with a variety of styles, eras and colours. When accompanied by yellow, gold or neutral tones, the shade looks classic and elegant, yet when paired with steel surfaces, it becomes edgy and contemporary.

Part of the Cover Story x Iittala capsule collection, the paint is inspired by Iittala’s extensive glass colour archive: the soulful hue is Cover Story’s interpretation of Iittala’s light blue glass. The colour is particularly common in Oiva Toikka's products, whether as small decorative details or larger surfaces like in the Sky Curlew glass bird. The plastic-free, odourless interior paint is suitable for both walls and ceilings.

Tips for purchasing Cover Story paints:

• Coverage 30–40 m². Count the amount of paint needed by multiplying the wall or ceiling width by its length. We recommend doubling that, as the best result is achieved with two coats of paint.
