Normann Copenhagen's Ark 3-seater sofa combines an airy and light expression with a robust, durable frame. Resting on slender metal legs, the sofa is upholstered in Kvadrat's high-quality wool blend fabric, and a spring system with a foam filling gives the plush cushions a firm but extremely comfortable feel.
When designing the Ark collection, Simon Legald wanted to create a practical, comfortable and flexible range of sofas and lounge chairs that would be suitable for both private and commercial use. This resulted in a modular sofa system, which was named after a Danish word for arch. Thanks to their minimalistic style and soft, curved lines, the Ark sofa and armchair modules are easy to combine with many types of furniture and decor styles.
