TIPTOE’s New Modern table is composed of a recycled plastic tabletop made from hundreds of yoghurt cups – hence the vivid terrazzo-like surface – and a streamlined steel frame, which consists of two pairs of trestle legs. The dining table was designed using as few parts as possible, and each part is made from durable and easily recyclable materials. The New Modern table is quick to assemble and disassemble, and it can be stored in a small space if needed.
The name of the New Modern collection is a tribute to the era of modern architecture and design that flourished especially in the mid-20th century. The tables share a beautiful, functional and minimalist appearance that reinterprets the ideals of modernist aesthetics, and the sturdy, modular structure and multiple colour options make them well suited for a wide range of spaces and styles. All parts of the New Modern tables are manufactured in Europe, and the final assembly is carried out in France in a centre that promotes the social and work integration of persons with disabilities.
