The 4 PM side table by Massproductions follows the minimalist design language of the brand's 4 PM chaise lounge. Just like the seat, the table is made of Douglas fir – offcuts from the production of the chaise longue, to be exact.
The 4 PM side table is part of Massproductions' The Little Things product line, designed by Chris Martin, that comprises a range of smaller furniture and objects. When creating the collection, Martin wanted to focus on the kind of items we encounter in our day-to-day lives but often take for granted. The idea behind The Little Things is to "gild everyday life", as Martin puts it.
