October is a good time to slow down and take a moment for the things that truly count. Our latest addition perfectly embodies this sentiment: &Tradition’s charming Momento collection reminds us of the importance of living here and now.
ARTIST JAIME HAYÓN is especially renowned for his graphic, whimsical, and imaginative designs. Now the Spanish designer introduces his latest collaboration with the Danish design brand &Tradition: the enchanting Momento collection, which truly brings his signature creativity to life.
But there is much more to the series than just the aesthetic elements. The charming Momento pitchers, vases, and candleholders carry an important reminder: they encourage you to slow down and focus on just this moment.
The Momento pitcher is the result of meticulous research and testing over several years. The steel jug adds a dose of playful fun to the table, but in addition to its elegant appearance, it is also extremely easy and comfortable to use. Who wouldn't be frustrated by a jug that you simply can not use without spilling its contents?
The first thing that strikes you in the shape of the Momento vase is the contrast between the plush vase and its narrow neck. The vase is actually more than just a visual delight: it serves a purpose beyond aesthetics as it encourages a thoughtful approach to flower arrangement, inviting you to be discerning when selecting and placing each bloom. This process fosters a moment of mindfulness, transforming the act of crafting a bouquet into a reflective and meditative experience.
The Momento collection also contains different colored candleholders – a perfect way to prepare for the darkening times ahead! The Momento candlestick pays homage to the classic candleholder design with a small handle, originally crafted for easy portability between rooms.
Candleholders are meticulously slip-cast and glazed by skilled artisans in Portugal and their charming color palette is inspired by the artistry of the designer Jaime Hayón himself.
